Physician Agreement
The Physician Agreement is a formal contractual agreement between the province of Nova Scotia and Doctors Nova Scotia with respect to funding of insured physician services.
The agreement was signed as a four year contract from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2027.
The agreement reimburses our physicians for the important and valuable service they perform and provides reward for activities that are particularly valued in light of changing social realities and patient needs.
The agreement was reached through an innovative, collaborative approach designed to encourage new ways to advance health care delivery and improve patient care, while also supporting existing services.
